About the Role
Our client in Middelburg is seeking an experienced Sales Representative with yellow machinery/earthmoving mining machinery sales experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of identifying and qualifying leads, building relationships with customers, and closing deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify leads through prospecting, networking, or referrals
- Build trust and rapport with potential and existing customers to establish business relationships
- Understand the features, benefits, and value proposition of yellow machinery/earthmoving mining equipment
- Conduct needs analysis and tailor presentations to address customer pain points
- Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with customers to close deals
- Prepare and submit sales contracts, ensuring accurate order placement and fulfillment
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a positive experience
Requirements
- Experience in yellow/mining/earthmoving equipment sales
- Experience dealing with mines or similar environments
- Residency requirement: must be based in Middelburg or surrounding areas
- Excellent communication skills in Afrikaans
- Good track record of success
- Valid driver’s license
