About the Role
Placement Point, a reputable company based in Honeydew, is seeking an experienced Process Filtration Sales Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the sales and technical support team, you will provide expert guidance to clients and internal stakeholders on filtration consumables and capital equipment, ensuring seamless system performance and recommending process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to clients and sales teams on the selection, application, and performance of filtration consumables and capital equipment.
- Conduct site visits, process audits, and trials to assess system performance and recommend process improvements.
- Collaborate with Project Houses, Mining Houses, and the company during design, commissioning, and implementation phases.
- Prepare technical documentation, including proposals, process flow diagrams, and performance reports.
- Manage key client relationships, ensuring technical excellence, customer satisfaction, and long-term partnership growth.
Requirements
- 3-5 years experience in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
- Commerce degree preferably in Business or Sales Management.
- Proven track record in developing and travelling into the African region, coupled with technical selling experience.
- Experience developing and closing deals in new or emerging markets.
- Technical knowledge and experience in the Filtration Industry, Mining, and Heavy Industry will be an added advantage.
Qualifications
- Mechanical or Chemical Engineering Diploma or Degree.
- Commerce degree preferably in Business or Sales Management.
