About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead our finance function across African operations. As Head of Finance – Africa, you will be responsible for driving financial strategy, governance, reporting, and operational finance across multiple countries. Our well-established manufacturing organisation is offering a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires a strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the finance function across African operations
Drive financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
Deliver accurate and timely management and statutory reporting
Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements across regions
Partner with operations to improve manufacturing efficiencies, cost control, and margins
Oversee working capital, cash flow, and capital expenditure
Lead audits, risk management, and internal controls
Develop and lead regional finance teams, driving performance and succession planning

Requirements

CA(SA) – non-negotiable
Minimum 8–12 years’ post-qualification experience
Strong background in FMCG or manufacturing environments (essential)
Experience managing finance across multiple African countries or regions
Proven leadership experience managing senior finance teams
