About the Role

Network Finance, a multinational logistics business based in Johannesburg East, is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join their executive leadership team. As a key member of the senior management team, the successful candidate will drive financial excellence and partner with cross-functional teams to drive growth and optimize margins.

Key Responsibilities

Drive and execute the financial strategy, advising executive leadership on performance, risk, and growth initiatives.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning across multiple regions.
Oversee financial reporting, consolidations, governance, compliance, and audit alignment.
Manage cash flow, working capital, treasury, and financial risk mitigation.
Partner with operations and commercial teams to optimise margins, control costs, and support strategic projects.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, while supporting group-level initiatives and reporting.

Requirements

Registered CA(SA) (non-negotiable).
Proven experience within the courier, freight, or logistics industry (essential).
Minimum 10 years’ experience leading a finance department, with at least 5 years in senior leadership.
Strong commercial and financial acumen with in-depth taxation and statutory compliance knowledge (South Africa and neighbouring countries).
Solid understanding of imports, exports, customs duties, and cross-border operations.
Demonstrated experience in financial system implementations and optimisation.

Qualifications

Registered CA(SA) (non-negotiable).
