About the Role
The Group Financial Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial management of our group entities, ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting, and implementing processes to improve financial efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring consolidated group financial statements are prepared accurately
- Reviewing of group EBITDA with insightful report on variances
- Collaborating with the Group Collections manager to reduce debtors days and stock holding days
- Implementing a standardized chart of accounts, financial policies, and month-end reporting pack across all entities
- Ensuring accurate and compliant payroll and benefits processing
- Developing Regional Financial Managers to achieve performance ratings while maintaining low attrition within the finance team
- Delivering improved financial reports and dashboards that support effective decision-making
Requirements
- 10 years experience in a healthcare environment
- 5 years experience in a senior multi-site or group financial leadership
- Hands-on experience with audits (internal & external), tax, and regulatory compliance in South Africa
- Proven experience implementing / managing ERP or hospital financial systems and financial reporting automation
Qualifications
B. Com Accounting (or similar) CA(SA) or equivalent professional accounting qualification strongly preferred
