About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Auditor Accounts with expertise in medical administration to join our client’s team on a temporary, 3 to 6-month contract basis. The ideal candidate will assist in auditing financial records and transactions related to medical services provided by our organization. Key Responsibilities
- Review and audit financial records, contracts, invoices, and payments related to medical services
- Analyze and identify discrepancies, errors, or irregularities in financial transactions
- Verify accuracy of patient billing and insurance claims
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies
- Prepare reports and documentation of audit findings and recommendations
- Collaborate with Accounting, Medical Administration, and third-party vendors to resolve financial discrepancies
- Assist in developing and implementing financial controls and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Provide support and guidance to staff on financial policies and procedures
Requirements
- BCom degree completed or currently studying
- And/Or SAICA/SAIPA Articles Completed
- Knowledge of medical billing and insurance claims processes is a bonus
- Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards in the healthcare industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software
