Our client is a leading accounting firm based in Johannesburg, South Africa. We provide a wide range of accounting and auditing services to clients in various industries. They are committed to developing the next generation of accounting professionals and offer opportunities for aspiring accountants to gain practical experience and mentorship through their SAICA trainee program.
Key Responsibilities:
– Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports
– Conducting audits and reviews of client accounts
– Performing basic bookkeeping tasks
– Assisting with tax calculations and filings
– Participating in client meetings and presentations
– Completing training modules and exams required for SAICA certification
Requirements:
- accredited SAICA degree (or even postgraduate). Candidates will also be considered if they have completed the equivalent of the second year. Strong academic performance will be preferred. Good matriculation results in Mathematics (and Accounting) are a must.
- In essence any good candidates will be considered. To meet the needs of our client base the candidate should be able to speak Afrikaans.
- Please provide upfront the candidates matric results and current study records.
- No transfers with already in progress Saica Trainees will be done, as they believe SAICA Articles are a binding contract
