About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking a Senior Resource Geologist to join our team based at our mine in Gauteng. We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in geology and mineral resource management to lead and oversee various aspects of our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee mineral resource estimation, geological modelling, and statutory reporting, ensuring full compliance with SAMREC, ISO 17025, SOX, and related industry standards.
- Drive safety leadership and quality culture through effective safety campaigns, QA/QC systems, risk management, and continuous improvement of Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves.
- Manage, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary teams, fostering strong inter- and intra-team collaboration, clear communication, and high performance in a dynamic, ambiguous environment.
Requirements
- Grade 12 Sc. Honours in Geology or postgraduate qualification in the Mineral Resource Management
- Registered with the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions
- 5 years geological modelling and mineral resource estimation experience
