About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Analytics and Insights Manager to join our team at Deka Minas (Pty) Ltd. As a key member of our data-driven decision-making process, you will play a critical role in driving business growth through data analysis, insights, and strategic recommendations. You will be responsible for building, leading, and iterating on the team to compile and analyze digital metrics across various channels and develop a marketing data strategy that supports the on-boarding of MarTech initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and creation of reporting strategies and templates
- Lead execution of complex reports, identifying and interpreting complex patterns and trends, and translating those insights into actionable recommendations
- Create and manage scalable reporting and dashboards that monitor marketing key performance indicators (KPIs), highlight areas of improvement, and influence strategy
- Alongside key stakeholders, help define key metrics for management reports
- Develop a data, insights, and analytics roadmap, which supports improvements to existing tools, processes, and journey towards full attribution
Requirements
- 5 or more years’ of proven business data analysis, insights, and marketing analytics related experience
- Experience in leading impactful data-related or analytics projects and visually presenting and communicating findings with minimal supervision
- Experience in communicating and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, finance, business analytics, and engineering at various levels such as peers to senior leadership
- Experience using and analyzing large data sets
- Experience using data to develop digital performance marketing strategies (advantageous)
- Experience working in more than 1 business functional area (advantageous)
Qualifications
- Grade 12/ SAQA Accredited Equivalent
- Degree in relevant field
- Postgraduate degree in relevant field (advantageous)
- Advanced Excel, Google Marketing Platform, Facebook Business Manager, Data visualisation tools – Data Studio and Qliksense or, Digital marketing channels – SEO/SEM/Display/Social, Tag management tools – Google Tag Manager, Advanced PowerPoint, Microsoft Office Suite
