About the Role
Hire Resolve, a top-tier recruitment firm specializing in placing skilled professionals in permanent employment, is seeking an experienced Quantitative Analyst to join our client’s team in La Lucia, KwaZulu-Natal. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing advanced predictive models, providing analytical support to business units, and creating data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new predictive models in line with business requirements
- Manage monthly monitoring and regular updates of existing predictive models
- Engage with key stakeholders around business requirements for models
- Proactive feedback to the business on value-added data-driven analytics
- Assist in building the Data science capabilities of the analytics team
- Perform ad-hoc analytics/data science projects as required by business
Requirements
- 2-5 years experience in scoring system development and credit risk analytics (retail)
- Python programming skills (advantageous)
- Exposure to IFRS9 modelling (highly advantageous)
Qualifications
- Honours degree in Statistics/Mathematics
- Masters Degree in Statistics/Mathematics (preferred)
