About the Role

SET Consulting, a leading Investment Management firm dedicated to delivering innovative, high-performance solutions across global financial markets, is seeking an HR Generalist to join their team in Cape Town. As a vital part of our human resources function, you will play a crucial role in supporting growth and success by enhancing the experience of all stakeholders through maintaining compliance, supporting recruitment and onboarding, and enabling data-driven decision-making through reliable HR reporting and record keeping.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the full recruitment life cycle, including sourcing candidates, liaising with agencies and stakeholders, screening CVs, scheduling interviews, and reference calling.
Maintain job specs.
Minimize time-to-hire and approach recruitment with urgency.
Assist with benchmarking.
Coordinate and support the HR team in the Induction and onboarding process for new starters, including welcoming, socializing, onboarding, documentation, workspace setup, and welcome gift packs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years experience in an HR Generalist role, including 2-3 years of experience in recruitment is essential.
Knowledge of labour laws and HR Best practices.
Understanding of the employee life cycle.
Understanding and experience in EE (Employment Equity), Skills development, and BBBEE.

Qualifications

Sage VIP payroll experience.

Salary & Benefits

The salary for this role ranges from R380k to R420k per annum.
