Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic direction and execution of the companys PR and communications strategy
- Manage and nurture relationships with media, stakeholders and internal teams
- Oversee all media engagement, brand visibility and thought leadership initiatives
- Craft and oversee impactful content across media, digital and internal channels
- Provide strategic communications counsel to senior management
- Manage crisis communications with professionalism and discretion
- Lead, mentor and inspire a high-performing communications team
Requirements
- 6 -12 years experience in Public Relations, Advertising, or Marketing
- 3+ years experience in a senior or leadership communications role
- Proven ability to write for media and manage campaigns within an agency or marketing environment
- Demonstrated experience handling crisis communications and reputation management
- Strong strategic, creative and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, or related field
