About the Role
Fempower Personnel is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Certification Sales Executive to join our team in Cape Town. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for growing our client base in Food Safety, Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety Management Systems (e.g., FSSC 22000, ISO 9001). With your management systems expertise and business development skills, you will connect with prospective clients, understand their needs, and deliver tailored certification solutions. We are looking for someone who is passionate about sales and has a strong understanding of management systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage prospective clients to achieve growth targets.
- Conduct needs assessments and recommend certification solutions suited to client operations and risk profiles.
- Prepare professional quotations, proposals, and client presentations.
- Build strong relationships and ensure smooth handovers to certification and audit teams.
- Support marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives.
- Keep accurate sales records, pipeline reports, and CRM updates.
- Collaborate with certification and technical teams to ensure service delivery.
- Stay current on relevant standards, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
- Provide insights for strategic planning based on market feedback.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Food Technology, Quality Management, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or Business Administration.
- Minimum 3 years experience in implementing and/or auditing management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, FSSC 22000).
- Prior experience in sales or business development within the certification or compliance sector (Advantageous).
- Experience working in a team environment with direct client liaison.
- Ability to identify and pursue business opportunities aligned with strategic objectives.
- Experience working under pressure and delivering on deadlines.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Food Technology, Quality Management, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or Business Administration (minimum requirement).
Salary & Benefits
[Salary range: R500,000 – R700,000 per annum, plus commission structure]
