About the Role

Limpopo Career Consortium (Limcaco) is seeking an experienced Senior Metallurgist to join our team in Burgersfort. The successful candidate will have a strong background in processing plants and projects, with a focus on Precious Metal Group (PGM) flotation and Chrome recovery plant experience. This role requires exceptional presentation skills, good computer literacy, administration, and housekeeping skills, as well as a valid certificate of fitness and a Code 8 driver’s license.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage PGM plants and projects
• Conduct plant processing knowledge on PGM flotation
• Operate Chrome recovery plants
• Present findings to stakeholders
• Maintain accurate records and reports

Requirements

• Minimum 7 to 10 years post-qualification experience in PGM plants and projects
• Good presentation skills
• Valid Code 8 driver’s license
• Ownership of transport vehicle
• Proficiency in SAP systems

Qualifications

• Matric Certificate / Grade 12 (with Mathematics and Science)
• Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering Degree or Post-graduate qualifications
