About the Role
We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer on Mastercam to join our team in Germiston, Johannesburg. As a seasoned professional with extensive experience in production and manufacturing, you will be responsible for programming milling and turning machines, designing moulds and tooling, and contributing to production planning. With a strong focus on research and development, this is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take on new projects and drive growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Program CNC Milling and Turning machines using Mastercam software
- Design and create drawings of moulds and tooling
- Assist with quoting and purchasing of materials
- Participate in production planning and research and development initiatives
- Collaborate with the workshop team to ensure efficient machinery operation
Requirements
- 3 years or more experience as a CNC Programmer on Mastercam
- Strong technical drawing skills and ability to read technical documents
- Proven hands-on experience with milling and turning machines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology)
