About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Rooms Division Manager to join our team at a four-star corporate hotel in Johannesburg. As a seasoned hospitality professional, you will be responsible for managing the rooms division, ensuring excellent customer service and maximizing revenue. Our 4* hotel boasts over 200 rooms, providing endless opportunities for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the rooms division to ensure maximum occupancy and revenue growth
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and loyalty programs
  • Coordinate with departments to provide seamless check-in and check-out experiences
  • Monitor room inventory, optimize distribution, and minimize no-shows

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years as a Front Office Manager of 400 roomed 4* hotel or Rooms Division Manager at a 160 roomed 4* hotel
  • Fluent English and high-volume dealing experience
  • Own vehicle for frequent travel between hotels in the city
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 Tertiary Hospitality Management Diploma
  • Matric certificate (if applicable)
