About the Role

Hire Resolve is currently seeking a Pavement and Materials Specialist for an engineering consulting company. As a Pavement and Materials Specialist, you will be joining a team of experts in the field of pavement design and materials selection.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and analyse pavement structures for roads, highways, and other infrastructure projects.
  • Conduct material testing and evaluation to determine suitability for specific applications.
  • Develop and implement material specifications and construction standards.
  • Perform site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes.
  • Provide technical support and guidance on materials-related issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in pavement and materials engineering.

Requirements

  • BSc Eng / BEng / BTech Eng qualification in Civil Engineering.
  • Must be Pr.Eng / Pr.Tech Eng registered.
  • Minimum 15 years relevant experience in Pavement Engineering Consultancy.
  • Strong knowledge of pavement materials, including asphalt, concrete, and soil stabilization techniques.
  • Proficiency in pavement design software and other engineering tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
