About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lodge Manager to join our intimate 5* Safari Camp in Zululand. As the key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of front-of-house hospitality management and operations, as well as managing our F&B department. You will also be responsible for conducting month-end stock takes, implementing continuous stock control, and ensuring seamless guest experiences across all departments.

Key Responsibilities

Manage front-of-house hospitality operations
Oversee food and beverage services (FOH & Kitchen)
Conduct month-end stock takes and implement continuous stock control
Coordinate with HODs on booking information
Manage maintenance staff and tasks
Implement HR policies and procedures
Ensure effective communication across all departments

Requirements

Grade 12 Hospitality or Game Lodge Management qualification
At least 3-5 years of previous work experience in management roles in related lodge environments
Proven management experience in luxury lodge environments
Strong understanding of budget control and financial management planning
Hands-on staff management and disciplinary process expertise
Excellent communication skills

Qualifications

Completed Grade 12 or relevant qualification
