About the Role

Network Finance is seeking a skilled Creditors Clerk to join our team in Johannesburg North. As a key member of our accounts payable department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of creditor payments. If you have experience in a creditors/accounts payable environment and strong analytical skills, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Capture and process accounting transactions accurately
Prepare and reconcile creditor accounts in the general ledger
Reconcile purchase orders to goods received notes and supplier invoices
Verify the validity and accuracy of tax invoices and credit notes
Process and manage creditors’ invoices and vendor statements
Prepare vendor payments and ensure accurate and timely processing
Generate and distribute remittance advices to suppliers
Create and maintain new vendor accounts and master files on SAP
Prepare creditors’ age analysis for review and reporting purposes
Perform reconciliations and assist with month-end reporting

Requirements

Diploma in Accounting or a related financial qualification
Experience in a creditors/accounts payable environment (security industry experience will be advantageous)
Working knowledge of SAP
Strong reconciliation and analytical skills
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines

Qualifications

Completed Diploma in Accounting or a related financial qualification
