About the Role

Fidelity Services Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Representative to join our team in Midrand. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for securing new business through networks, forging and sustaining good relations with clients, and retaining existing business. You will work closely with our New Business Development Executive to drive growth and increase turnover in the cash management services area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively seek out new business opportunities through networking and cold calling
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their queries promptly and satisfactorily
  • Physically conduct site surveys for security requirements and prepare proposals
  • Ensure timely submission of quotations to clients
  • Assist with marketing-related issues for the area
  • Compile and submit weekly and monthly management reports

Requirements

  • At least 5 years experience in sales, preferably in a similar position
  • Sales diploma or equivalent qualifications
  • Full competence in the use and application of Microsoft Office Suite programs (Microsoft Excel)
  • Ability to work under pressure and for extended hours if required
  • Own reliable transport
  • Must be prepared to travel
