About the Role

We are seeking a reliable Storeman to join our team at Route Management in Johannesburg. As a Storeman, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring that goods are received, stored, and distributed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receipt, storage, and distribution of goods within a store
  • Efficient handling of stock, accurate order processing, and proper inventory management
  • Properly storing items, maintaining a clean and organized warehouse
  • Picking and packing items for shipment, preparing orders for dispatch, and potentially using a warehouse management system
  • Maintaining accurate stock levels by conducting cycle counts and stock takes, and reporting discrepancies
  • Coordinating outgoing shipments, including documentation and arranging transportation
