About the Role
Dis-Chem Pharmacies in Midrand is seeking an experienced ESG Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching and analyzing ESG data to identify risks and opportunities that inform our ESG strategy. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our organization’s sustainability performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and implement ESG data management framework
- Analyse data to inform and support ESG materiality assessment process, including peer benchmarking
- Identify key ESG risks and opportunities that can impact ESG performance, reputation, and operations
- Conduct monitoring and measurements of ESG performance indicators and reporting
- Assess and maintain the ESG Materiality Matrix
- Support the development of the ESG risk framework
- Plan for and coordinate non-financial assurance process
- Prepare ESG-related Board and Committee materials and reports
- Support communications narrative and content for our Groups’ ESG activities
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in ESG or sustainable development related field
- Experience in developing and implementing ESG metrics and data analytics
- Strong knowledge of ESG data management
- Critical thinking, capacity to evaluate complex information, identify patterns, and draw meaningful conclusions
Qualifications
- Grade 12 Matric or a Senior Certificate Degree in Environmental Science / Social Science Management / Project Management or related field
