About the Role

PKF Durban is seeking an experienced Senior Audit Manager to join our Umhlanga Office team. As a key member of our audit department, you will be responsible for ensuring effective and efficient audits, managing client relationships, and leading a small team of audit staff. If you are a Chartered Accountant with strong leadership skills and a passion for auditing, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducts assigned audit engagements successfully from beginning to end
  • Identifies and communicates issues raised, offering recommended solutions relevant to audit risk
  • Supervises audit team assigned to engagements providing guidance and overall review of deliverables
  • Ensures audit conclusions are based on a complete understanding of the process, circumstances and risk
  • Develops audit programs and testing procedures relevant to risk and test objectives.
  • Obtains and reviews evidence ensuring audit conclusions are well-documented
  • Ensures adherence at all times to all applicable company and professional standards

Requirements

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant registered with SAICA
  • Minimum of 4-6 years post article experience
  • Caseware knowledge advantageous
  • Technologically savvy

Qualifications

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant registration with SAICA
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (if applicable)
