About the Role
An established and fast-growing Property Developer is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their in-house team. The developer is actively delivering multiple residential developments across Phesantekraal, Paarl, Somerset West and the West Coast (Vredenburg), offering long-term stability and exposure to large-scale projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Full cost management across multiple residential developments
- Preparing and managing budgets, cost plans and cash flows
- Procurement and appointment of contractors and subcontractors
- Contract administration and valuation of works
- Managing variations, final accounts and cost reporting
- Working closely with project managers, consultants and site teams
- Ensuring commercial compliance and cost control across all projects
Requirements
- BSc / BTech in Quantity Surveying
- Minimum 8 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Strong residential development experience (developer or contractor background)
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong contractual and commercial acumen
- Strong communication and leadership skills
