About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Die Issuer & Repairer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. With 2 years of experience in the rotary die cutting/toolmaking industry, you will play a crucial role in maintaining dies before use and managing their repair material. Your technical expertise and computer literacy skills will be essential in performing tasks such as inspection, maintenance, and re-racking of dies.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspection and maintenance of dies before use.
- Manage die repair material at all times.
- Follow-up on status of die orders.
- Keep updated register of all dies and their condition.
- Re-racking and inspection of dies.
- Housekeeping of die room.
- Assist sales in ordering of new dies.
- Liaise with Graphic Artist on new jobs.
Requirements
- Technical Matric
- Tool/Die Maker trade certification will be an added advantage
