About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team at Telebest in Durban North. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing our warehouse and distribution operations, overseeing staff management of 200 shift workers, and ensuring the efficient movement of goods through our multi-temperature environment. With 5-7 years of experience in warehousing distribution management within a QSR/FMCG environment, we are looking for someone with advanced knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and MS Great Plains.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage warehouse operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Oversee staff management of 200 shift workers, including recruitment, training, and performance management
- Implement and maintain advanced Warehouse Management Systems to optimize inventory management and supply chain efficiency
- Monitor and control inventory levels, tracking and reporting on stock movements and discrepancies
- Manage relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless logistics operations
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in warehousing distribution management within a QSR/FMCG environment
- Advanced knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and MS Great Plains
- Proven track record of successfully managing staff teams in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of 200 shift workers
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain / Logistics Management or similar
Salary & Benefits
[Salary range: R600 000 – R800 000 per annum, plus benefits package]
