About the Role
Unique Personnel Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Control/Planner to join our team in Sandton. As a key member of the Project Execution team, you will provide support and assistance for the planning and coordination of projects, ensuring logical, practical, and realistic planning, adequate resources, and physical progress reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that planning is logical, practical, and realistic; that adequate resources are available when required;
- Follow-up of physical progress reporting;
- Liaise with contractors in relation to planning and scheduling;
- Internally, frequent contact with Project Manager and other team members of the division;
- Liaison with Operations Manager, Senior Planner, Business Unit Manager, Divisional and Project Services staff for input and update status purposes.
- Gather information for EOT and Variations analysis;
- Handle inquiries and provide information and advice related to planning and scheduling.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Minimum 5 years experience in the mining industry
- Strong Primavera P6, Microsoft Project & Excel skills are essential
- Able to prepare plan and schedule documents, proposals, executive reports in English
- Chinese Mandarin will be an advantage
