About the Role

Persona Staff is seeking an experienced Accounts Clerk to join our team in Cape Town. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for processing customer statements accurately and on time, preparing and issuing customer invoices, and performing account reconciliations and investigating discrepancies. If you have a strong background in finance and accounting, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Process customer statements accurately and on time
Prepare and issue customer invoices
Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
Maintain and update customer financial files and documentation
Assist with general administrative and finance-related tasks as needed
Support the finance team with ad hoc duties during peak export periods

Requirements

Matric certificate
34 years of experience in a similar finance or accounts administration role
Sage accounting experience (essential)
Strong Excel skills and overall computer literacy
Bilingual in Afrikaans & English
Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail
Willingness to work overtime when required
