About the Role
A fast-growing South African payments and fintech business is seeking a highly analytical yet creative Performance Marketing Specialist to join its Marketing team. This role plays a critical part in driving lead generation, customer acquisition, and measurable business growth through data-led digital campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and optimise paid media campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, and emerging digital channels.
- Align campaigns to objectives such as lead generation, customer acquisition, engagement, and conversion.
- Run A/B tests across ads and landing pages to continuously improve performance.
- Optimise campaigns based on performance data, audience behaviour, and market insights.
- Analyse performance and drive continuous improvement
- Monitor key metrics including CTR, CPA, conversion rates, ROAS, and CAC.
- Produce regular performance reports and dashboards for internal teams and senior stakeholders.
Requirements
- Performance-driven mindset with a strong focus on ROI and measurable outcomes.
- Strong analytical ability and confidence working with data and dashboards.
- High attention to detail across campaigns, reporting, and optimisation.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously.
- Collaborative approach when working with creative, data, and product teams.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 or equivalent (essential)
- Relevant tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, or a related field (essential)
Salary & Benefits
- Own vehicle and valid driver’s licence. Willingness to travel between offices in Cape Town, Stellenbosch, and Johannesburg as required.
