About the Role
The Admissions Secretary will play a crucial role in supporting the school’s admissions process, ensuring seamless communication with prospective parents, and maintaining accurate records of pupil information. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
- Admissions: The application of GDE and school rules relating to the admissions process, assessing the quality of applicants and making decisions regarding acceptance or otherwise
- Providing information and answering queries regarding the admissions process
- Attending GDE meeting regarding the schools’ admissions
- Dealing directly with the GDE regarding the placement of learners
- Management of school waiting lists
- Contacting feeder (and previous) schools to ensure fee payments are up to date for prospective pupils
- Contacting parents to ensure that enrolment fees are paid (Grades 0-7)
- Communication: Marketing of the school and meeting prospective parents and conducting school tours

Qualifications
- National senior certificate/Grade 12 Diploma in administration or related field
