About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our team in Stellenbosch. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth through your sales, technical expertise, and industry knowledge. You will work closely with our customers to understand their needs, provide accurate estimates and recommendations, and ensure seamless communication with our technicians, parts department, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare for the arrival of customers and their vehicles
- Compile accurate job cards, cost estimates, and service recommendations
- Manage customer consultations upon arrival
- Update and maintain the Dealer Management System and vehicle control systems
- Liaise regularly with customers regarding vehicle status and progress
- Act as the link between customers, technicians, and the parts department
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and follow-ups professionally
- Maintain accurate service records and customer data
- Ensure accurate invoicing and payment processing
- Perform customer follow-ups and service reminders
- Attend weekly service meetings
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role within a motor dealership (essential)
- Grade 12 / Senior Certificate
- Motorcycle licence (Code A) preferred
- Technical qualification and/or mechanical aptitude will be advantageous
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong customer and service orientation
- Effective problem-solving ability
- Self-management and resilience
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a motor dealership (as stated above)
- Grade 12 / Senior Certificate or equivalent
