About the Role

HotelJobs is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Chef to join our upmarket casual dining restaurant in Lagos, Durban. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be passionate about cookery and hard working with sober habits. You should have a stable employment history with contactable referees and be willing to relocate. Our ideal candidate is a strong team leader who can train junior staff.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare high-quality dishes for upmarket casual dining
Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management and staff supervision
Train and mentor junior chefs to ensure consistency in food quality
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen

Requirements

2+ years of experience as a Head Chef or similar role
Proven track record of success in high-volume kitchens
Excellent communication and leadership skills

Qualifications

Salary & Benefits
