About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Manual Tester to join our team at E-Merge in Centurion, South Africa. As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will work closely with the IT department and business units to perform and validate test cases based on quality and system requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Perform and validate test cases based on quality and system requirements
- Work closely with the IT department and business units to identify and prioritize testing needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of testing into the development process
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test reports
- Identify and report defects in a timely manner
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in IT as a Quality Assurance or Software Test Analyst
- Knowledge of the international software testing qualifications board (ISTQB) testing principles
- ISTQB Foundation certification would be advantageous but is not a prerequisite
- Proficient in Microsoft office: Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- A good understanding of the software development life cycle and processes
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of QA databases and applications
Qualifications
- A qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
