About the Role

Diverse Consulting Solutions is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineering Salesperson to join our team in Johannesburg, near Roodepoort. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling 6-axis catalogue-based robots and associated equipment to manufacturing, automotive, FMCG, packaging, engineering, and industrial sectors. You will work closely with existing customers to ensure repeat business, drive end-to-end sales cycles from enquiry to closing orders, and maintain regular contact with key accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Promote and sell 6-axis catalogue-based robots and associated equipment
Conduct on-site customer needs analysis to recommend appropriate robot models and configurations
Drive end-to-end sales cycles from enquiry to closing orders
Maintain regular contact with existing customers to ensure repeat business
Manage key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term relationships
Provide pre- and post-sale technical support (with engineering team)
Prepare and deliver professional client presentations, demonstrations, and ROI proposals

Requirements

Matric / Grade 12
Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
National Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering OR Mechatronics OR Electrical Engineering OR equivalent technical qualification
Additional sales, automation, or robotics training is advantageous
Ability to size and recommend 6-axis robots and related accessories
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
Experience with catalogue-based product sales highly beneficial

Qualifications

National Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering OR Mechatronics OR Electrical Engineering OR equivalent technical qualification
Matric / Grade 12 (if no formal education mentioned)

Salary & Benefits

Monthly Salary: R 35 000 to R50 000 Gross Commission on top
Salary package is dependent on skills, Qualifications and years of relevant experience only
Discretionary Annual Performance Bonus

Pension Scheme which will be taken off your Net Salary
