About the Role
Mikaara Services is seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our team as an Administration Assistant in Midrand. As part of our busy administrative team, you will be responsible for managing multiple tasks, prioritizing emails, and ensuring seamless communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a busy Outlook inbox, ensuring timely responses and structured organisation.
- Draft, review, and prepare correspondence for internal and external communication.
- Prioritise emails and follow up on outstanding matters.
- Manage a dynamic calendar across Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet.
- Prepare meeting agendas, documentation, and pre-briefs where necessary.
- Anticipate and resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Perform accurate bank reconciliations, specifically for supplier EFTs and cash payments.
- Track and record expenditure with attention to detail.
- Maintain proper filing systems for financial and administrative documents.
- Monitor project costs, progress, supplier performance, and timelines.
- Source materials, obtain quotes, and communicate with contractors.
- Provide regular project updates and flag risks or delays.
- Run daily or ad-hoc errands as required.
- Source items according to specifications, comparing quality and price.
- Manage supplier communication and delivery timelines.
