About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Passenger Vehicle Qualified Technician to join our team at Select Motor Recruitment in Pretoria. As a key member of our dealership, you will be responsible for performing mechanical and electrical diagnostics on passenger vehicles, carrying out scheduled maintenance and repairs according to manufacturer specifications, and ensuring all work is documented accurately.

Key Responsibilities

Perform mechanical and electrical diagnostics on passenger vehicles
Carry out scheduled maintenance and repairs according to manufacturer specifications
Identify and report any additional work required on vehicles
Ensure all work is documented accurately on service sheets and systems
Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and vehicle inventory
Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental procedures
Assist in training junior technicians or apprentices as required
Maintain high standards of professionalism and customer service

Requirements

Qualified Automotive Technician (certified by recognized institution)
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience working on passenger vehicles in a dealership environment
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures
Valid driver’s license
Own reliable transport preferred
Ability to work overtime when required
Good communication and teamwork skills
Motor Industry experience ESSENTIAL!!
