About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Technician to join our team in Somerset West. As a key member of our quality control team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. With your tertiary qualification in Electronics or LC Electrical Engineering field, coupled with 2-3 years experience in quality control of work in progress and final goods, we are confident that you have the expertise to drive success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage ISO and compliance standards within the plant
- Conduct supplier and materials quality control
- Write quality reports
- Provide non-conformance corrective action
- Implement and ensure 5S Lean Manufacturing principals
- Train staff on new procedures and maintain a safe working environment
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in quality control
- Experience with ISO standards and compliance management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and report writing skills
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Electronics or LC Electrical Engineering field
- Valid driver’s license with a clear criminal record
- Proof of car ownership
