Job Description
About the Role
This position involves overseeing day-to-day financial processing, including suppliers, customers, payroll, receipts, and disbursements, as well as preparing and reviewing accurate monthly financial statements and management reports. The successful candidate will act as finance lead during audits, ensuring successful completion across all group entities, while maintaining financial systems, controls, and processes to ensure accurate recording and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing day-to-day financial processing including suppliers, customers, payroll, receipts, and disbursements
- Preparing and reviewing accurate monthly financial statements and management reports
- Acting as finance lead during audits, ensuring successful completion across all group entities
- Maintaining financial systems, controls, and processes to ensure accurate recording and reporting
- Managing inventory-related financial controls, risks, and stock counts, including monthly and annual cycles
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensuring compliance with IFRS, tax, VAT, payroll, statutory reporting requirements, and banking covenants
- Assisting with the preparation of RFQs where required
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years experience in a Manufacturing environment (non-negotiable)
- Experience with Evolution ERP
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS, income tax, VAT, and payroll taxes
- Hands-on experience managing end-to-end financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance
- Strong ownership and accountability
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
