About the Role
Our client, a large and established manufacturing organisation is seeking a Management Accountant to join their team. We are looking for a highly skilled professional with experience in financial management, cost accounting, and quality control to contribute to our company’s success.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform full costing functions
- Analyse general ledger accounts for accuracy and reasonableness
- Prepare and deliver management reports
- Monitor stock, work in progress (WIP), and oversee floor stock counts
- Compile, track, analyse, and report on budgets
- Check product margins and translate raw material specifications into bills
Requirements
- B.Com degree or BTech in Financial Accounting (NQF 6) or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Accountant, Cost Accountant, Financial Manager, or similar role in a medium–to large–size organisation
- Strong understanding of finance, financial control systems, creditors, debtors, bookkeeping, and financial management systems
- Solid knowledge of supply chain, quality principles, and cost management accounting
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s licence
