About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for handling full-cycle recruitment efforts, managing local hiring needs, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and internal company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle full-cycle recruitment efforts in Cape Town, from sourcing and interviewing to offer stage and onboarding.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and create effective recruitment plans.
- Support local hiring needs by managing recruitment reports and data.
- Run day-to-day HR administrative tasks for the Cape Town office, including documentation, contracts, and employee file management.
- Handle and run the site-level payroll process and ensure accuracy and timely delivery in collaboration with the finance team.
- Ensure all HR practices in Cape Town comply with local labor laws and internal company policies.
- Maintain accurate records in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Serve as a point of contact for local employees on general HR-related inquiries and operational support.
- Promote a positive candidate and employee experience throughout all interactions.
- Stay informed about best practices in talent acquisition and local employment trends.
- Manage office facilities and workplace arrangements to ensure an efficient and employee-friendly working environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in recruitment, HR administration, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and handle local HR operations independently.
