About the Role
Our client, a dynamic Italian restaurant branch in Fourways, is seeking a talented Front of House Manager / Senior Manager to join their busy and vibrant restaurant. This exciting opportunity is perfect for a motivated individual who thrives in fast-paced environments and is eager to take on a leadership role.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily FOH operations to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
- Lead and motivate staff, including training, scheduling and performance management.
- Maintain high service standards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Handle guest relations, resolve complaints, and create memorable dining experiences.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless communication and service flow.
- Manage stock levels, cash-ups and operational reporting.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the restaurant/hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of managing FOH operations in busy, high-volume venues.
- Strong leadership abilities with a hands-on management style.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with diverse clientele.
- Problem-solving mindset with quick decision-making under pressure.
