Job Description

Sales Executive Location: Durban Package: R20 000 – R25 000 basic gross salary per month 6% pension medical aid (50/50 employer/employee contribution) In addition, strong sales performance based incentive scheme of up to 20% of annual gross salary, paid quarterly, as well as R1 000 cellphone allowance and R1 000 travel allowance. Job Summary A dynamic and target-driven Sales Executive is required to join a leading hotel group in Durban . This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional with experience in the corporate and government travel sectors , who thrives in a client-facing environment and is focused on driving revenue growth. The successful candidate will work closely with the Hotel Sales Manager to build strong client relationships, grow market share, and support group-wide revenue performance through strategic cross-selling of sister properties based on client travel patterns. Key Responsibilities Manage, grow, and service an assigned Corporate and Government client portfolio Conduct sales calls, client visits, presentations, and site inspections Identify client travel patterns and cross-sell sister properties where appropriate Work closely with the Hotel Sales Manager to align on sales strategy and execution Prepare and submit sales reports, pipelines, and performance updates to the Hotel Sales Manager, General Manager, and Regional Sales Manager Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and new business opportunities Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions Maintain excellent client relationships and represent the brand professionally at all times Qualifications & Competencies 2 years’ proven experience in hotel sales , preferably within the Corporate and Government sectors Strong understanding of market segmentation and account management Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Ability to work independently within a multi-level reporting structure Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle (mandatory) Highly organised, proactive, professional, and confident in a client-facing role How to Apply Interested candidates are invited to apply through the online application platform by submitting their CV and a recent profile photograph .
