About the Role
We are seeking a professional and personable Receptionist / Office Administrator to join our Cape Town office. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional service while supporting the smooth running of the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full reception duties including switchboard operation (forwarding calls, taking messages, etc.)
- Serve as a primary liaison with clients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.
- Perform general administrative tasks to support office operations.
- Coordinate office logistics management, including boardroom bookings.
- Handle incoming and outgoing post and parcels promptly and securely.
- Oversee ordering and stock control of cleaning materials and office supplies.
Requirements
- Minimum Grade 12 qualification.
- At least five (5) years’ experience in frontline reception and office administration roles.
- Formal training or certification as a receptionist, switchboard operator, or office administrator.
- Fully bilingual proficiency.
- Friendly, professional demeanour with a neat appearance.
- Excellent communication skills and telephone etiquette.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently under pressure.
- Valid driver’s licence (Code B / EB) with own reliable transport.
