About the Role

We are seeking an inspiring and dynamic Head Chef to join our beachfront restaurant in Seychelles. With a passion for culinary innovation and operational excellence, you will be responsible for managing a diverse team with varied skill levels, while maintaining consistently high standards and introducing fresh energy to our food offering.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily kitchen operations
Supervise staff
Budgeting
Supplier management
Stock control
Waste reduction
Motivate, train, and mentor a team
Lead by example, taking ownership of kitchen performance, organisation, and operational systems
Develop and implement menus that showcase seafood forward cuisine with locally inspired fusion flavor profiles

Requirements

4 years of Senior Chef experience in a high-end restaurant
Culinary Diploma or Degree from a reputable chef’s academy
Expertise in seafood forward menus & locally inspired fusion flavor profiles
Proven ability to manage daily kitchen operations, including staff supervision, budgeting, supplier management, stock control, and waste reduction
Strong menu development skills while maintaining budget and food cost efficiency

Qualifications

Culinary Diploma or Degree from a reputable chef’s academy
