About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Cash Processing Centre Manager to lead our cash operations at the Port Elizabeth Branch. This is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring the overall operational efficiency, financial performance, and regulatory compliance of all cash-related operations, including Cash Centres, ATM services, and branch cash handling.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the regional budget and P&L for cash operations, including capital expenditure on equipment.
- Define and track KPIs (e.g., cost-per-note processed) and lead cost optimisation initiatives.
- Establish and enforce standardised operating procedures (SOPs) across all sites.
- Oversee infrastructure and physical security, and serve as the regional escalation point for major operational and security incidents.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in a cash management environment
- Strong Awareness of the Cash Industry
- Proven ability to Deliver Strategy and Drive Change
- Excellent Leading People and Delivering Performance capabilities
Qualifications
- Security Management qualification or equivalent qualification
