About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stock Controller to join our team at Craven Cottage CC in the North West. As the backbone of our inventory management, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate stock records, preventing losses and theft, and maintaining real-time control over our stock levels. If you have a proven track record in hospitality, restaurant, or resort environments and are eager to take on a new challenge, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for all stock across departments (camp kitchen, bar, water park, tuck shop and housekeeping)
• Ensure accurate receiving, issuing, transfers, and recording of stock
• Maintain real-time accurate stock records
• Prevent stock loss, theft, wastage, and misuse
• Enforce FIFO principles and correct storage procedures
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts
• Reconcile physical stock with system stock
• Investigate, explain, and report all variances
• Ensure zero tolerance for unexplained discrepancies

Requirements

• At least 3+ years proven experience as a Stock Controller in hospitality, restaurant, or resort environments
• Strong experience using HOPS, Lightspeed, POS, or similar stock/inventory platforms
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
• Strong Excel and reporting skills
• Firm, assertive personality with the ability to enforce controls
• High integrity, reliability, and accountability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. hospitality management, accounting)
