About the Role

This exciting opportunity has come up at a manufacturer and supplier of equipment for the mining sector. We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Draughtsman to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Create conceptual drawings for quotation / estimating.
• Design and supply of manufacturing drawings to suit customer requirements.
• Liaise and consult with Sales department.
• Supply drawings for information on request.
• Utilise computer software to prepare estimates and supporting documentation.
• Communicate with various departments to resolve issues.

Requirements

• Grade 12 with Mathematics and Technical Drawing (essential).
• A technical tertiary education (advantageous).
• Minimum 3 years within ideally mining machinery sector.
• Computer literacy essential Microsoft Office (Excel & Word).
• Drawing experience essential.
• Mechanical knowledge.
• Solidworks experience (advantageous).

Qualifications

• Grade 12 with Mathematics and Technical Drawing.
