About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Junior Production Manager to join our team in the Vegetable and Citrus industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficient use of resources, and collaborating with other staff members.
Key Responsibilities
- Planting, fertilizing, sprouting, and harvest-related actions
- Daily Irrigation and monitoring of soil moisture
- Management of personnel and processes
- Good communication skills with management, team leaders, and other staff
- Computer literate
- Possess good time management skills
- Thorough control over equipment and application of regulations
Requirements
- Knowledge in Vegetable and/or Citrus industry
- 3 years experience in a similar position
- Afrikaans and English speaking
- Good interpersonal skills and cooperation with other staff
- Planting, fertilizing, sprouting, and harvest-related actions
- Daily Irrigation and monitoring of soil moisture
Qualifications
Gr12 Tertiary education not mandatory but would be advantageous.
