Witbank: Admitted Attorney / Litigation Attorney

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join our team in Witbank. As an admitted attorney with a minimum of 1-year post-admission experience, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing litigation files from inception to finalization, representing clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations, conducting legal research and providing legal opinions, and ensuring compliance with litigation timelines and procedural requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting and reviewing Notices, Pleadings, and other legal documents
• Managing and overseeing litigation files from inception to finalization
• Representing clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations
• Conducting legal research and providing legal opinions
• Engaging with clients, counsel, and other stakeholders
• Handling case management and court processes efficiently

Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric
• LLB Degree
• Admitted Attorney with a minimum of 1-year post-admission experience
• Previous Litigation Experience (Civil & Commercial)
• Strong administrative skills and attention to detail

Qualifications

• Completed LLB Degree
• Admitted as an Attorney in the High Court of South Africa
• Valid Practising Certificate

Salary & Benefits

R 18 000.00 – R 35 000.00 CTC per month, dependent on post-admission experience
