About the Role
Nationwide call for locum/relief teachers to apply. Experienced teachers, particularly those in retired or part-time roles, are welcome to join our pool of available candidates. We are seeking individuals who can step-in quickly and provide high-quality education to students during periods of staff absences due to long-leave, maternity, sick leave, or COVID-19 isolations. Key Responsibilities
- Teach students according to the SACE curriculum
- Manage classrooms and conduct lessons
- Develop and implement lesson plans
- Assess student progress and report to teachers
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and grades
Requirements
- SACE registered
- Have teaching experience (beyond teaching practicals)
- Reliable transport
- Readily available – no notice period required to serve
- Solid references
- Clear criminal check
Qualifications
- Matric or equivalent qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (if applicable)
